Meeting Joy

A family on the move, a new school, and a new adventure.

Is your child about to join a new school or go into a new grade level?

For some children, this experience can be incredibly exciting, but for others, it can be a little scary, especially for children who find themselves moving schools regularly due to housing insecurity.

Angela AWESOME!!

I bought this book to add to my five year old granddaughter’s library. She is entering kindergarten in August. When we read it together, she was mesmerized by the photos and asked questions which showed that she was interested in the storyline. Great read!

DD Nicely written

This book is beautifully written as you can feel the emotions of this young lady as she navigates her family life and going to school. This should be read in the beginning of every school year with students. The illustrations are beautiful as well.

Sandra L. King SO MUCH JOY!

This book is a must have for all! It is beautifully written and a powerful message. We need more books like this, that children can relate to and see themselves in. It should be in all classroom spaces!

RN Wonderful Read!

I read this book to my granddaughters and they loved the story about a special friend. As someone whose grandchildren did not experience a life like this, the story brought about compassion and empathy. The illustrations are beautiful and mesmerizing.
